Who we are

SnapCoach (“we”, “us”) is a general wellness and nutrition coaching app operated by PFC AI Automation LLC. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to provide SnapCoach. SnapCoach v1 is a text-based nutrition tracker.

• Account information: an account identifier, an optional display name, and, if you use Sign in with Apple and choose to share them, your email address and name.
• Profile and goal data: body metrics you enter (height, weight, birth year, sex at birth, activity level), your calorie/protein goal and target, dietary preferences, and coaching-tone choices.
• Typed meal text and derived nutrition: the meal descriptions you type; the AI-generated calorie, protein, and macro estimates derived from them; and the meal entries you save to your log.
• Health-adjacent inputs: the sleep and activity you log manually, plus your check-ins and mood entries.
• Subscription status: entitlement and purchase status supplied through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
• Paywall interactions: views of subscription screens, including the placement and offering shown, associated with your SnapCoach account identifier through RevenueCat.

We do not request access to your camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, or precise location.

How your data is stored and processed

Your account, profile, goals, typed meal descriptions, meal history, and health-adjacent inputs are stored using Convex.

To estimate a meal’s nutrition, the typed text description you enter is sent to a third-party AI model (OpenAI) which returns calorie, protein, and macro estimates. These estimates are approximate and are labeled as estimates in the app. They are not medical or clinical measurements.

OpenAI states that data sent to its API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models unless the API customer opts in to share data; SnapCoach has not opted in. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, or longer where required by law.

Subscription billing is handled by the Apple App Store through RevenueCat. We receive subscription and entitlement status, not your full payment-card details.

RevenueCat also processes custom paywall views associated with your SnapCoach account identifier so we can understand paywall performance. We do not use this information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Generate your daily calorie/protein plan, estimates, and coaching messages.
• Adjust tomorrow’s plan and produce your weekly summary.
• Send the daily reminders you opt into (handled on-device).
• Manage your subscription and provide support.
• Understand how our subscription screens perform.
• Keep the app secure, stable, and free of abuse.

What we do not do

We do not show advertising or sell your personal data. We do not use your health data, profile, or meal text for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. We share information only with the processors described above when needed to operate SnapCoach or when required by law.

Payments and subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold and billed by the Apple App Store and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status, not your payment card details. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the store linked to your account.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account inside the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, goals, meal entries, and health inputs from our systems, except where we are required to retain limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

You can also request deletion by emailing support@pfcai.xyz or visiting our account deletion page.

Deleting your SnapCoach account does not cancel an Apple App Store subscription. Manage or cancel it separately in Apple subscription settings.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. We use reputable infrastructure providers and limit access to your data to what is necessary. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

SnapCoach is intended for people aged 17 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, turn reminders on or off, restore purchases, and delete your account from within the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact support@pfcai.xyz to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
